BACKGROUND
Rumah Teras Baca Az Zahra is our initiative to provide a friendly and educational environment for children to develop a love for reading from an early age. The awareness of the importance of building a culture of literacy from an early age is the main driving force behind the establishment of this place. We believe that reading skills are not merely about recognizing letters, but also about shaping character, fostering imagination, and developing critical thinking abilities in children. To cultivate a love for reading in an enjoyable way, we employ various creative approaches, one of which is the Read Aloud technique, where children not only listen to stories but also emotionally and cognitively engage with the content of the reading material. Through this activity, children are encouraged to explore the world through books, expand their vocabulary, and build a positive relationship with literacy. RP SNC Teras Baca Az Zahra serves as a space for growth, learning, and play, designed to sow the seeds of literacy from an early age, particularly within the local community.

BAKU SAGA (BACA BUKU BERSAMA KELUARGA)
One of the activities carried out at RP SNC Teras Baca Az Zahra is Baca Buku Bersama Keluarga, which is an activity that involves children and parents directly. Through this activity, families are encouraged to create meaningful moments together while fostering a culture of literacy at home. Not only does this activity strengthen the relationship between parents and children, but it also serves as a means for parents to set a positive example in terms of reading. By reading together, children feel more cared for and motivated to continue learning, while parents can understand their children's interests and literacy development more closely.
PEMINJAMAN BUKU
Another flagship activity at RP SNC Teras Baca Az Zahra is Peminjaman Buku, which is an effective way to expand access to reading outside of visiting hours at the reading park. Through this lending system, children and family members can take home selected books to read at home, thereby fostering a habit of reading within the family environment. In addition to increasing the frequency of reading, this activity also teaches children responsibility in caring for and returning books on time. With a diverse collection of books, this lending program serves as a bridge to build independent learning and a love of literacy in a sustainable manner.
